Consulting & implementation

From the first decision
to ongoing operations.

Choose independent advice, implementation, or additional engineering around the work your team needs to deliver. We help government and enterprise teams assess options, connect systems, and prepare people to operate the result. Services are available with or without a DT platform subscription.

01 / Services

Start with the question your team must answer.

The right engagement depends on the uncertainty in front of you. Some teams need a coherent direction. Others need evidence from a bounded test or an independent comparison of competing options.

Standalone consulting does not require a software purchase. Independent assessments can recommend DT, another product, a custom approach, or no AI implementation. Scope, deliverables, and decision gates are agreed before work begins.

01

Where should we focus—and are we ready?

Advisory, strategy, and readiness

Clarify the organizational or mission opportunity, assess the conditions around it, and establish priorities before resources scatter across disconnected AI efforts.

Deliverables: readiness findings, prioritized opportunities, decision criteria, and a practical roadmap.

Explore strategy and readiness
02

Can this idea work in our environment?

Rapid AI prototyping and integration

Build the smallest useful experiment around a consequential uncertainty, then examine performance, workflow fit, risk, and the conditions required to move forward.

Deliverables: a bounded prototype, test plan, findings, risks, and a recommendation to advance, revise, or stop.

Explore rapid AI prototyping
03

Which option fits our needs and constraints?

AI technology and vendor evaluation

Compare tools, vendors, models, and architectures against explicit mission and technical criteria—not demonstrations or feature claims alone.

Deliverables: an evaluation framework, comparative scorecard, evidence summary, and independent recommendation.

Explore technology evaluation
04

How does useful work enter production?

Platform and workflow implementation

Configure the platform, connect approved systems, establish access and review controls, and test the workflow in its intended environment.

Deliverables: deployment configuration, integrations, acceptance evidence, operating documentation, and a handoff plan.

Discuss implementation
05

What needs deeper engineering in our environment?

Forward-deployed engineering

Bring in DT engineers for initial solution consulting or hands-on implementation alongside your team. Scope support for internal APIs, MCP tools, model integration, air-gapped deployment, and troubleshooting.

Deliverables: scoped engineering changes, integration documentation, test findings, and knowledge transfer.

Discuss engineering support
06

Can our team operate and improve the capability?

Training and ongoing support

Prepare users and administrators for their roles. Scope support for troubleshooting, maintenance, workflow refinement, and operational handoff.

Deliverables: role-specific training, runbooks, support responsibilities, and an agreed escalation and maintenance plan.

02 / From assessment to operation

Advance when the evidence supports it.

Engagements can stand alone or form a sequence. Agree what the next decision requires before expanding the work.

01

Assess

Clarify the opportunity, constraints, options, and success criteria. Choose a suitable starting workflow or recommend a different path.

02

Pilot

Test representative work with real users and approved inputs in a bounded setting. Examine quality, failure modes, oversight, and operating cost.

03

Implement

Build the connections and controls, document ownership, validate acceptance criteria, and prepare the rollout.

04

Operate

Train users and administrators, establish support responsibilities, and review results as the workflow and technology evolve.

03 / Engagement structure

Scope the software and the work around it.

Your team can build and operate solutions using DT’s documentation and integration interfaces. Engineering services are optional: choose the consulting, implementation, or support you need alongside the software.

01

Software subscription

The platform scope covers agreed access, enabled capabilities, and usage terms. Subscription details depend on the intended deployment and organization.

02

Optional engineering

Engage forward-deployed engineers for initial consulting or implementation. Project work covers agreed configuration, integrations, workflow development, testing, and handoff deliverables.

03

Hosting

DT-hosted arrangements include agreed platform operations. Customer-hosted deployments assign infrastructure responsibilities to the customer, with DT assistance as scoped.

04

Support

Training, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing engineering are defined in the support scope. Response commitments and operating coverage are agreed explicitly.

Explore integrations and developer interfaces, air-gapped implementation, or standalone consulting.

04 / Shared principles

Different engagements. The same operating discipline.

Every service is intended to create decision-quality evidence while respecting the mission environment around the work.

01

Mission-aware

The operating context, users, authorities, data, and tolerance for error shape the work from the beginning.

02

Evidence-first

Assumptions become explicit, tests answer defined questions, and recommendations show the reasoning behind them.

03

Independent assessment

Standalone assessments follow the customer’s criteria and can recommend approaches or products other than DT. Relevant dependencies and conflicts are made explicit.

04

Security-conscious

Initial conversations stay unclassified and non-sensitive until scope and appropriate handling arrangements are established.

05 / Start a conversation

Start with the decision.
We’ll map the right first step.

Describe the decision or uncertainty at an unclassified and non-sensitive level. We can determine which engagement—if any—fits the situation.
